Apartment Maintenance Technician

We’re searching for a dependable, hard-working, and customer-service-minded Apartment Maintenance Technician with prior residential property maintenance experience to join our team.
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll troubleshoot the service issues our tenants and owners encounter and work alongside the great members of our maintenance team to keep our properties in top condition, inside and out.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot service issues reported by tenants and owners, including HVAC, electrical, general appliance work, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Respond to maintenance work order requests and follow up with residents, owners, and office staff.
- Work with the maintenance team and office staff to ensure both the interior and exterior of our properties meet company standards and applicable laws.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve maintenance issues to the satisfaction of our tenants and owners.
What we’re looking for
- Well-rounded experience across all facets of building maintenance — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and small appliance repair.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in property maintenance or an equivalent field such as home construction, remodel, and make-readies. (Required)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for working with tenants, owners, and office staff.
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record and auto insurance. (Required)
- A reliable work truck or van and your own basic foundational handyman tools.
- HVAC certification a plus.
Pay & benefits
Pay is $20–$25 per hour, based on the certifications you hold and your experience level. Full-time team members also receive:
